Known for their soulful three-part harmonies, West Coast Music Award winners Sweet Alibi have shared their folk roots-pop infused music with listeners across North America and Europe since 2009. They are the distinct and complementary voices of Jess Rae Ayre, Amber Nielsen and Michelle Anderson, joined by Alasdair Dunlop on bass and Sandy Fernandez on drums. Their music has garnered national accolades and awards, has been featured on MTV Canada and CMT and has received major radio play on college/community and satellite radio, with several songs in the top 20 of CBC radio’s national charts.

Like all great singer/songwriters, Mike Plume’s music bears a distinctive stamp. It could be his richly detailed storytelling style, or his unyielding devotion to rock and roll’s original spirit. Or it could just be how his earthy, uncompromising style —often tempered with a sly sense of humour— is impossible to separate from his art.

Touring with acts like Blue Rodeo gave Mike great exposure but his twelve albums to date testify to his vision. Mike is the real deal, a performer’s performer and one of this country’s best song-writers.
